When a standard replacement screen does not match your separator or application, ScreenerKing manufactures custom screens to your exact specifications. This guide walks you through the ordering process step by step, including what information to provide, how to submit your request, and what to expect for turnaround time.

Step 1: Gather Your Specifications
The more detail you provide, the faster we can quote and manufacture your custom screen. At minimum, we need:
- Screen outside diameter (OD): The full diameter of the screen frame, measured edge to edge through the center
- Screen inside diameter (ID): The diameter of the mesh area inside the frame ring (if known)
- Frame ring height: The height of the metal frame ring that the mesh is bonded to
- Mesh size: The mesh count or opening size in microns/millimeters
- Screen material: 304 SS, 316 SS, T-430, or other
- Separator brand and model: If the screen is for an existing separator
- Quantity needed
Helpful additional information includes: drawings or sketches with dimensions, photos of the existing screen (top, bottom, and edge views), the existing screen part number if available, gasket type and size, and any special construction requirements (center feed, grommets, sandwich configuration, etc.).
Step 2: Submit Your Request
Send your specifications through any of these channels:
- Online: Submit a quote request with your specifications and any attached drawings or photos
- Phone: Call (866) 265-1575 to discuss your requirements with a screening specialist
- Send a sample: If you have an existing screen that needs to be duplicated, send it to our Houston facility. We will measure it, confirm specifications, and quote based on the actual part.
Step 3: Review Our Quote
ScreenerKing reviews your specifications, confirms manufacturing feasibility, and provides a quote that includes per-screen pricing, minimum order quantity (if applicable), and estimated lead time. Most custom quotes are returned within one to two business days.

Step 4: Approve and We Manufacture
Once you approve the quote, we manufacture your custom screens at our Houston facility. Lead times depend on complexity and current production schedule but are typically faster than OEM custom orders.
Step 5: Inspection and Delivery
Every custom screen is inspected against your specifications for mesh accuracy, frame dimensions, and bond integrity before shipping. Material certifications are available upon request.
