Perforated plate screens are made by cutting precise holes in stainless steel sheet metal. Common applications include industries driven by round hole sizing standards (e.g. food nuts), applications where smoother operating surfaces benefit the separation, some highly abrasive applications where perforated steel can outlast wire mesh, and slotted applications with unique dimensions such as rectangular or oval slots.

Perforated plate screens are made by cutting the holes on a fiber laser CNC machine that is then welded to a standard screen ring. Pricing is based on hole size, hole stagger, pattern, and thickness of the stainless steel
