How Are Large 48" and 60" Vibratory Screens Shipped?
Direct Answer

To minimize damage and cost, large 48" and 60" screens are shipped via LTL Freight using specialized pallet stacking. This allows us to stack up to 10 screens vertically in a single footprint, significantly reducing the per-unit shipping cost compared to individual parcel shipments.
The Economics of Industrial Shipping
Shipping a single 60-inch screen is expensive because it consumes a full pallet space despite being only 2 inches tall. The most cost-effective strategy for plant managers is Batch Ordering.
LTL Freight vs. Parcel
- Parcel (UPS/FedEx): Available only for 18", 24", 30", and some 36" screens. Anything larger physically exceeds the conveyor belt width of parcel sorting hubs.
- LTL Freight: Mandatory for 48" and 60" units. By ordering 6+ screens at a time, you distribute the fixed "base rate" of the freight pallet across multiple items, often dropping the shipping cost per screen by 60-70%.
Can I get 24-hour shipping?
Yes. Because we manufacture on the East Coast of the USA, we bypass the global supply chain delays common with imported mesh. We maintain a "Safety Stock" of standard market-grade screens (20 mesh, 40 mesh, 60 mesh, etc.) ready for immediate deployment during facility shutdowns.
